Washing instructions

Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees

Your textiles will be hygienically clean even at 30 degrees without high temperatures. This not only saves energy but also protects the fibers. For heavier soiling, you can pre-soak textiles briefly or use a hygiene rinse.

Separate textiles by color

Separate your laundry by color: wash whites separately, dark colors also separately, and colored laundry together. An exception to this is red tones – it's best to wash these individually to avoid discoloration of your textiles. This way, your Mission Erde favorite pieces will stay like new for a long time.

Avoid the dryer

The high heat of the dryer can strain the fibers and cause clothes to lose shape and quality faster. It is gentler to let your items air dry, so they stay in best shape longer, the quality is preserved, and they feel like new.

Avoid fabric softeners & bleaches

Aggressive additives like fabric softeners or bleaches can strain the fibers of your clothes and at the same time harm the environment. Instead, use mild detergent to protect the materials and keep your clothes looking good longer.

Hand wash

Wash your textile in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, gently moving it back and forth. Avoid strong rubbing or wringing to protect the shape and material. After washing, gently squeeze out the water and ideally dry the textile flat so that everything stays in shape and feels pleasantly soft on the skin.
